Complaints Policy
IJIRMS is committed to handling complaints fairly,
objectively, and confidentially. Complaints may relate to editorial processes,
peer review, publication ethics, conflicts of interest, published content,
publication charges, or the conduct of editors, reviewers, authors, or journal
staff.
Complaints should be submitted in writing to the Editorial
Office with sufficient details and supporting information, where available. The
complaint will be acknowledged and assessed by the Editor-in-Chief or a
designated senior editor who is independent of the matter concerned.
Where a complaint involves the Editor-in-Chief or another
editor responsible for handling the matter, it will be referred to an
appropriate independent senior person or the Publisher for review.
The journal will investigate complaints proportionately to
their nature and may seek explanations, documentation, or information from
relevant authors, reviewers, editors, institutions, or other parties when
necessary. Confidentiality will be maintained throughout the process, subject
to legitimate ethical, legal, or regulatory requirements.
Complaints involving research or publication misconduct will
be handled in accordance with the journal’s Publication Ethics and Research
Integrity policies and applicable COPE guidance. Where appropriate, the journal
may issue a correction, expression of concern, retraction, or other editorial
action.
