Resources for Authors and Reviewers

IJIRMS encourages authors and reviewers to use established resources that support accurate reporting, ethical research, and responsible medical publishing.

ICMJE

Authors should consult the current ICMJE Recommendations for guidance on authorship, manuscript preparation, conflicts of interest, clinical trials, data sharing, research ethics, and other aspects of medical publishing.

COPE

The journal follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and encourages authors, reviewers, and editors to consult COPE guidance when dealing with publication ethics and research-integrity issues.

EQUATOR Network

Authors should use appropriate reporting guidelines for their study design through the EQUATOR Network.

NLM / MeSH

Authors are encouraged to use Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terminology where appropriate and to follow accepted biomedical citation practices.

Declaration of Helsinki

Research involving human participants should follow the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and applicable institutional and national requirements.

Clinical Trial Registries

Clinical trials should be registered in an appropriate publicly accessible registry in accordance with applicable ICMJE requirements.

ORCID

Authors and reviewers are encouraged to maintain an ORCID iD to support accurate attribution of scholarly work.
